As someone living with Sickle Cell Disease, I’ve had to learn the hard way how to balance running a business and taking care of myself. That’s why automation isn’t just a buzzword for me—it’s a game-changer.
Why I Do This
When I started my journey, I thought running a business was all about having a great idea. My first venture—a digital download store for Christian music—was born out of my love for helping others and solving problems. But I didn’t know much about marketing, follow-ups, or client retention. Eventually, I had to close it, feeling like I’d failed.
That experience taught me an important lesson: a good idea isn’t enough. You need systems and strategies to keep things running smoothly, even when life gets messy.
